Die Marke Yugo, einst ein Symbol f\u00fcr Jugoslawien, wird 2027 ein Comeback feiern. Der 1980 von Zastava Automobiles lancierte und bis 2008 produzierte Yugo wurde auf der Automotive Design Show 2025 in M\u00fcnchen als Modell im Ma\u00dfstab 1:5 vorgestellt. Unter der Leitung des serbischen Professors Aleksandar Bjeli\u0107 und des Designers Darko Mar\u010deta wird der neue Yugo ein kleiner Schr\u00e4gheckwagen sein, der den Stil der 80er Jahre mit modernem Design verbindet. Er wird sowohl als Benzin- als auch als Elektroauto erh\u00e4ltlich sein und etwa 15.000 Euro kosten, um ein erschwingliches Elektroauto anzubieten. Der vollst\u00e4ndige Prototyp wird auf der Belgrader Expo 2027 vorgestellt. Um f\u00fcr das neue Modell zu werben, plant das Team, die Kampagne von 1975 nachzustellen und mit einem klassischen Yugo von Kragujevac, Serbien, zum Kilimandscharo zu fahren.<\/p>\n

Der Yugo kam 1985 zu einem niedrigen Preis von 3.990 Euro auf den US-Markt und war damit der billigste Neuwagen zu dieser Zeit. Trotz der hohen Verkaufszahlen, die 1987 fast 50.000 Einheiten erreichten, verschlechterte sich sein Ruf aufgrund von Qualit\u00e4ts- und Sicherheitsproblemen. Consumer Reports kritisierte die Konstruktion und das Getriebe, und schlechte Crashtestergebnisse beeintr\u00e4chtigten seine Marktposition. Der Zerfall Jugoslawiens und die UN-Sanktionen von 1992 brachten die jugoslawischen Exporte zum Erliegen, was den Zusammenbruch des US-H\u00e4ndlernetzes und der Ersatzteilversorgung zur Folge hatte. Zastava produzierte noch bis 2008 Yugo-Modelle, danach \u00fcbernahm Fiat das Werk f\u00fcr die weitere Produktion.<\/p>\n

Die Marke Yugo wird im Jahr 2027 mit einer neuen dreit\u00fcrigen Schr\u00e4ghecklimousine zur\u00fcckkehren. Unter der Leitung des deutschen Professors Aleksandar Bjeli\u0107 und des Designers Darko Mar\u010deta wird das Modell das quadratische Design des urspr\u00fcnglichen Yugo beibehalten und mit modernen Merkmalen wie schlanken LED-Leuchten, gro\u00dfen Leichtmetallr\u00e4dern und versteckten T\u00fcrgriffen ausgestattet. Das auf das europ\u00e4ische B-Segment ausgerichtete Auto wird zun\u00e4chst als Dreit\u00fcrer und sp\u00e4ter m\u00f6glicherweise als F\u00fcnft\u00fcrer erh\u00e4ltlich sein. Mit einem Preis von unter 15.000 Euro, idealerweise unter 13.000 Euro, soll er einer der erschwinglichsten Kleinwagen werden.
